This project was designed for students at Jeremiah School with Autism Spectrum Disorder or other diagnoses that make effective communication difficult. This game invited the players to become characters with unique skills who go on adventures. To adventure well, they must use positive social skills to contribute their own unique ideas and work with the other characters. This kit includes instructions for playing the game and several adventure prompts.

The Un-Bored Board is a busy board that incorporates a variety of activities and games that are related to school based learning. This was created based on the comprehension and skill level of one student, and tailored to meet the needs of children of similar age. Activities on the board are designed to be fun and appealing to the students, while increasing many different skills that are used daily in school.
The board is 3 1⁄2 feet by 2 1⁄2 feet and will be mounted on the wall in the classroom at Indian Trail Intermediate School accordingly to the students’ height. Several features of the board are as follows: Tic Tac Toe, money sorting game, dry erase board, laminated hidden picture worksheets, combination lock, fun clock, geo-board, and a backpack. The created activities are included in The Un-Bored Board document.
