Abstract
This is an article in the Mill-Agenda which honors the life of Helen Welshimer alongside Mrs. Perl (Perlea) Derthick, wife of former Milligan College president Dr. Henry Derthick, after their deaths. Helen referred to the couple in an article from 1940: “As I was visiting at the home of Dr. and Mrs. Henry D. Derthick, old family friends…” She goes on to describe a trip she took with him to visit a family in the area.
